Lesson 3 of Jamorama Book 2 introduces three new major 7th chords, including Gmaj7, and unfortunately the explanation of this chord contains an error (it tells the student to play G A D G B F#, rather than G B D G B F#). I’m baffled as to why this mistake was allowed to slip through in such an otherwise very professional course!

Edit: after writing the above, I had a look at the PDF (old) version of Jamorama Book 2 – in this book, the photograph clearly shows that the A string shouldn’t be played, as does the tab for the chord, it looks like a typo in the new software version of the book. It’s still played in the video however – bizarre.

Anyhow, the lesson continues with a progression to practice the major 7th chords you’ve learned, and then introduces chromatic notes, with more exercises. There’s a very nice jam track to finish off, which is pretty long compared to the previous ones.

Lesson 4 covers a new minor chord and triplet rhythms, and as usual there are exercises for practice, as well as general tips for improving your playing. The course is slowly but steadily becoming more challenging (as you’d expect), and I think that most people who started as beginners will be feeling quite impressed by their skills at this point!
